Abby explains, "Someone once told me that rock music was a thing of the past. I wrote ‘Rock the Rock’ as a reaction to that comment because rock and roll will never die. There is a new generation of rock musicians on the rise. Especially females who are ready to Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk, and Rock the Rock!"

Beginning early in her teens, Abby started playing in bands. In 2018, she was selected to attend GRAMMY Camp, followed by auditioning for America’s Got Talent. Since then, she’s released three singles via The Orchard.

Abby K has shared the stage with Nita Strauss, of Alice Cooper fame, who rolled out to accompany her while she ripped into Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper.” Managed by The Playroom’s producer and writer Eddie Z, she put together ferocious band made up of Johnny Zostant, Greg Dampier, Logan Foland, and Patrick Dukes.

Playing fingerstyle, Abby’s bass injects the song with a storm of reverberating magnitude, as she governs the visuals with her magnetic presence.

All three of her singles – “It Should Have Been Me,” “Dirty Love,” and “Rock the Rock” – were released internationally via Sony’s The Orchard.

“Rock the Rock” opens on deep growling guitars flowing into a propelling rhythm supplied by finessed yet dominating percussion and Abby K’s fat, cavernous bassline. Dark, throbbing, and flushed with badass bombastic dynamism, the harmonics assault the atmosphere with buff atomic hurricane impetus as Abby K’s yummy tones, reminiscent of Joan Jett infuse the lyrics with snarling textures traveling on femme fatale timbres.

The video, set just outside an abandoned brick building, revolves around Abby K and her band, who really know how to turn it on and blow it out. Playing fingerstyle, Abby’s bass injects the song with a storm of reverberating magnitude, as she governs the visuals with her magnetic presence.

Hardcore rock is not dead! It lives on in the fingers and voice of Abby K, who struts her awesome talent on “Rock the Rock.”
