R3HAB first made waves when he released his debut album, Trouble, back in 2017. Trouble amassed over 500,000,000 streams, putting R3HAB front and center. The Wave followed, accruing 250 million streams, and feature hit singles like “Hold On Tight,” the title track, and “Lullaby,” which went on to garner platinum status.

Since then, R3HAB has collaborated with music’s top voices, along with remixing songs by NOTD, Rammstein, Tom Walker, Sofi Tukker, Danny Ocean, Kygo, The Chainsmokers, and P!nk, just to mention a few.

In 2019, R3HAB signed a deal with Tencent and Sony Music to distribute his music to the Asian market via Liquid State, simultaneously licensing his library of over 190 tracks.

With her distinctive luscious, slightly nasal timbres, Amba injects the lyrics with nuanced surface vibrancy.

Amba Shepherd, aka Amber Louise Shepherd, has collaborated with another Dutch music producer, Hardwell, and was hailed by Elektro Mag as “the most relevant guest vocalist in EDM,” while DMC World defined her as “the number one voice on today’s dance floor.”

She’s performed on the main stage at Tomorrowland, Ultra, and EDC, and released music on major labels including Spinnin, Revealed, Ultra, Protocol, Island Records, EMI, Sony, Armada, Defected, Ministry Of Sound, and Vandit. Her music videos have collected more than 46 million views.

“Smells Like Teen Spirit” opens on a low-slung fat bassline topped by shimmering synths and Amba’s deluxe voice. When the dance rhythm kicks in, the song takes on throbbing dark energy with oscillating hues traveling overhead, giving the tune luminous coloration.
