Described by Martin Conner of Complex Canada as an artist “who has quietly arrived at the doorstep of hip-hop stardom in spite of the obstacles he has faced, is genuinely remarkable. If nothing else, it’s enjoyable to still have artists you can root for both personally, and artistically.”

With the release of his viral sensation “Telemundo,” rife with Dominican slang zest, Shah became a household name in hip-hop. “Telemundo’s” success led to Shah’s dazzling performance at New York’s Dominican Day Parade, followed by a European tour, as well as an upcoming television program called Ghostwriter.

He has performed at Northern Touch, Live at Heart, Mondo in NYC, Atlanta’s A3C, and SXSW. Not only is Shah part of Atlanta’s heavy-hitting league of world-class rap stars, including Gucci Mane, Migos, and Future, but he’s an ardent supporter of feminists and those sidelined by society.

Shah definitely has it going on! His flow is ooh la la, while the chill pressure of the harmonics is buff and rippling with glossy energy.

Since his surfacing, his myth has assumed tsunami proportions, with legions of fans in Miami and South Asia, where AnokhiLife’s Sara Singh named him to her list of ‘10 Desi Rappers To Watch Out For In 2020,’ writing, “He’s viewed as the Desi rapper destined to achieve true international superstardom rivaling that of rappers Drake and Kanye West and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan.”

“Cracks” opens on low-slung emerging synths, shimmering and oscillating on oozing colors, and then flows into a tight and right trap groove topped by creamy, glistening colors. The potent rhythm rolls on a Jovian-thumping kick drum and crunchy percussion.

Shah’s flow, tantalizing with melodic structure, delivers delicious tonal nuances, as well as smart, silky quatrains, both graceful and impeccably modulated.
