According to the band, “Our new single, ‘4AM Eternal,’ is a song about sexual autonomy and finding power and confidence in multi-love. It’s an indulgent, fantastical love note to being open about unashamedly exploring your desires and really not giving a flying fuck what other people think.”

Essentially, the song espouses granting your taste for new sensations and experiences, opening yourself up to the appeal of sexual gratification by means of embracing “the strange.”

Blonde Diamond’s genesis occurred as a creative outlet for front-woman Alexis Young and later grew into something larger and more evocative. The band has toured throughout Canada, Australia, the U.S., and Europe, sharing the stage with Broken Social Scene, CCR, Bishop Briggs, and Mother Mother.

A delish sexy sax solo by Jesse McGuinty underlines the erogenous ambiance of the tune, infusing it with smoldering surface pressure, akin to Pascal’s license to “lick the earth.”

Formerly known as Youngblood, the band dropped the name and reincarnated as Blonde Diamond, serving up a darker, more potent sound chock-full of luxurious torrid dynamics. The stripped-down line-up consists of Alexis Young, Malcolm Holt, Bruce Ledingham, and Louis Wu.

“4AM Eternal” rides emerging electronic swirls of color, gleaming with sensuous textures, and then flows into a vibrant electro-pop melody rife with dreamy, carnal hues, oozing on tumescent tendrils of ethereal mists. The arpeggiated bassline imbues the harmonics with surging depth, as the crisp tight percussion adds to the infectious rhythmic pulse.

Young’s deliciously voluptuous tones infuse the lyrics with erotic-laced timbres, trembling with wanton pigmentations radiating exciting savors. Exuding a wicked hedonism, the music’s flow invites the listener’s into satisfaction through physical sensory encounters.

On “4AM Eternal,” Blonde Diamond fuses tantalizing seductive colors with lush erotic murmurs topped by Young’s arousing voice.
