The rhyme slinger explains the song, saying, “It's about wanting to fit in to different groups but only finding out that you're meant to stand out. Instead of falling into the gangs or drugs that surround me, I decided to go to college, invest in myself and make the most out of it.”

Along with Just 4 You, Price’s previous offerings include Twas The Night Before, Night 2, and Night 3.

Price discovered the emotional liberty of poetry when he was six-years-old. Not only was poetry cathartic, but it provided him with a means to supplant hate with love, as well as empathize with others. Somewhere in there, he came across his father, listening to Tupac. The moment became a cusp of transition, a musical revelation leading to passionate fascination.

Tashia’s voice, nuanced with yummy R&B timbres, exudes buttery notes on tantalizing filaments of texture.

He began listening to I.T. and Ludacris, devoting hours to Ludacris’ “Stand Up.” An unforeseen result of listening to Ludacris over and over was the inculcation of “flow” – the way the lyrics flow smoothly over the rhythm.

Intrigued, Price added beats and melodies to his poetry and then performed for friends, who were astonished by his ability to use his voice as another instrument. He was hooked.

“Different” opens on gleaming creamy colors riding a measured potent trap cadence. Tashia’s voice, nuanced with yummy R&B timbres, exudes buttery notes on tantalizing filaments of texture. When Price enters, the flow takes on machine-gun spitting flow, tight and right, keeping pace with the rhythmic stream.

“I can’t fit in because I’m different / I got something that they missing / No one believe it but I’m one in a million / Buy a place and you won’t understand this feelin’.”

“Different” has it all: silky flows from Tashia and popping rhymes from Silas Price, all pushing atop infectiously undulating harmonics.
