Writer/director Chris Alexander (former editor of the iconic fright mag FANGORIA) has a new project in the works, one that'll make fans of goth and industrial music happy. Well, if not happy, perhaps less depressed. According to Variety, the movie, entitled BlackGloveKiller, is set to begin filming in the Fall (Of course. When else would it begin?).

The screenplay, written by Alexander, tells the story of a sexy predator named Miranda, who hunts for prey at night. While that might not seem to be particularly earth-shattering plot-wise, Alexander promises the movie “really aims to be a horror film like no other horror film, one that nods to its influence but is still distinctly the product of my own imagination.” Hmmmm…guess for now, we'll have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

When it comes to horror flicks, Ogre and Murphy both have some street cred. Ogre is perhaps best known to moviegoers for his role as Ogre in the rather unique Repo! The Genetic Opera, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman of Saw II fame, while Murphy has a small (to be kind) role in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, where he's credited as The Cold One. And, of course, he's featured in the club scene from the 1983 classic The Hunger, starring the recently departed David Bowie, in which Murphy is performing the legendary classic Bela Lugosi's Dead, perhaps Bauhaus' best-known track. No timetable for release yet, but c'mon, when better to unleash this bad boy for horror lovers than Halloween 2017? We'll keep you posted.
